Keeper Kelle Roos is latest to praise James Gibbons
Goalkeeper Kelle Roos has joined manager Neil Aspin in praising young full-back James Gibbons.
Aspin has already praised the youngster who broke into the first-team earlier this season having leapt ahead of more experienced rivals such as Lawrie Wilson and Adam Yates.
I think he can be very pleased with the performances he has put in…
Vale’s squad already boasts Nathan Smith and Dan Turner, both graduates of the youth team and Gibbons makes it a trio of homegrown youngsters to be established in the first-team squad.
Roos told the media after the win over Exeter that: “Gibbo has settled in very well.
“He has got a great pair of legs, he can get up and down the pitch very well and his delivery into the strikers is brilliant.
“I think he can be very pleased with the performances he has put in.”
