Aspin admits goalkeeping is a “problem” as he assesses squad
Port Vale manager Neil Aspin says that Rob Lainton’s injury has created a “problem” with the goalkeeping position as he assesses his Port Vale squad.
Aspin has confirmed that first-choice Rob Lainton is set to be out for a while yet and that leaves him with only inexperienced cover.

Vale have used four goalkeepers this season. Since Jak Alnwick’s departure in January Vale have used eight different keepers in goal with none of them able to make the position their own.
