Port Vale CEO says club are closing on new signings

Port Vale CEO Colin Garlick has told the Sentinel that the club are close to agreeing deals with two players.

Garlick told the newspaper: “We have a couple of players that are very close. We are just finishing that off and have to tidy a few little bits up with one particular club.”

Vale have had a slow start to the off season with the additions of Tom Pope and Danny Pugh announced so far.
