Manorshop owner says he will appoint former director if sale progresses
Manorshop owner Kevin Jones says that his own experience of the stadium infrastructure plus using the experience of former director Alan Jones are key to his takeover plans.
Jones has matched the £1.25m bid from Synectics Solutions with a bid of his own.
He told the Sentinel that he will use his experience of maintaining the stadium and will work with his father, Alan Jones, who was on the board under former chairman Bill Bell.
Jones told the Sentinel: “I am interested in the ground side of things, making the fans’ experience a lot better, engaging with the community and making sure the facilities are up to scratch on site. On the football side, my dad has a proven directorship at Vale Park and was there in the really good times.”
