Northampton Town have announced that former Port Vale manager Rob Page has left the club.
Page left the Valiants to join Northampton Town in the summer but a poor run of form culminated in a 5-0 loss to Bristol Rovers at the weekend. Page then courted controversy by making an ill-judged “men against girls” comment for which he subsequently apologised.
The club announced the news by Twitter on Monday morning.
