Michael Brown says Vale need more experience
Port Vale caretaker manager Michael Brown says veteran Ryan Taylor is a good example of what experienced players can bring to the Vale squad.
Brown has switched Taylor into midfield since taking charge and he has been impressed with the results, telling the Sentinel: “Ryan has now finally found his true fitness and, on the stats, he has blown everyone away. He is a seasoned pro and we need more of that experience.”
Vale will be hoping that experienced midfielder Sam Foley could return from injury at the end of the month but with the club short of forwards, it is likely that Brown will look to add some experience upfront as his next priority.
