Port Vale manager Bruno Ribeiro says that Anthony Grant will “come back more strongly” when he returns from suspension.
Grant is missing until Boxing Day after being charged with the FA for his conduct during the Fleetwood game.
Ribeiro told the Sentinel: “When he comes back I think he will come back strong because he will want to help. He is a good man and he is a good player.
“What he did wasn’t right but now I think he will come back more strongly because he wants to help the club and the team.
“He is a top player and he is my captain. He did one thing bad but he knows it was bad and wants to help the other players and the club.”
