Port Vale draw Hartlepool United in the FA Cup second round

Port Vale have been drawn at home against Hartlepool United in the second round of the FA Cup.

The Valiants scraped into the second round after a narrow 1-0 win over Stevenage on Saturday.

Hartlepool boast former Vale striker Billy Paynter in their squad.

The two sides have never met in the FA Cup but last faced each other in a League Cup clash in 2014 which Vale memorably won 6-2 thanks to a Ben Williamson hat-trick.
