Former players: Robertson, Grimmer secure moves
A couple of former Port Vale players have secured moves during the busy end to the transfer window.
Chris Robertson, who left Vale and joined Ross County has returned to League One with AFC Wimbledon. Robertson was released by County on Wednesday, making him a free agent and free to complete his move after the window had closed.
Meanwhile, former loanee Jack Grimmer has rejoined Shrewsbury Town for a third loan spell. Grimmer has agreed a season-long loan and will link up with former Valiants AJ Leitch-Smith, Louis Dodds and Ryan McGivern.
It’s also been a good week for McGivern who has been recalled into the Northern Ireland International squad.
