Rigino Cicilia makes Vale first-team bid with reserves goal
Striker Rigino Cicilia did his chances of a first-team start no harm with the opening goal in Vale Reserves 3-1 win over Morecambe.
Cicilia and Martin Paterson are vying for the place of the injured Anton Forrester upfront and although Paterson started on Saturday, Cicilia impressed when he came on as sub.
Cicilia gave Vale reserves the lead after just six minutes on Tuesday with a neat finish. He then hit the post before Morecambe equalised and goals from Sam Kelly and Quentin Pereira made it 3-1 to Vale at the break.
