Port Vale’s goalkeeping signing delayed due to International clearance
Port Vale’s imminent signing of Benfica B goalkeeper Miguel Santos has been delayed due to International clearance.
The Valiants have confirmed that they will be adding the 21 year-old to their squad as competition for Jak Alnwick with youngster Ryan Boot earmarked for a season-long loan.
Santos played 50 games for Benfica B and should he join he will become the fourth Portuguese player to join the Valiants this summer, following left back Kiko, midfielder Paulo Tavares and striker Carlos Saleiro.
