Page delighted with Vale’s “great response”
Rob Page says he is delighted with the side’s response to the poor defeat to Chesterfield as they recorded back-to-back wins.
Vale secured an excellent away win over Gillingham on Saturday and maintained their second clean sheet in a row.
It was a great response after the disappointment of Chesterfield…
Page told the media: “It was a great response after the disappointment of Chesterfield. I think we have shown now that we aren’t just happy to see the season out.
“I think that was the biggest disappointment for us after the back of 45 minutes at Chesterfield where we could have been accused of just seeing the season out.”
