Daniel is “not going to be at Port Vale next season”
Colin Daniel appears to have signalled that his Port Vale career is at an end after he tells the Mansfield press he “thoroughly enjoyed” his spell at Vale Park.
Daniel moved to Mansfield Town on loan until the end of the season and it now looks likely that the move will result in a permanent transfer.
Speaking to the Mansfield official website about his time at Vale, Daniel commented: “I’ve enjoyed it, it’s been a good time. Obviously I’ve been in and out of the team but when I’ve been in the team I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time there.”
The winger also seemed to indicate that he would be leaving the Valiants in the summer as he commented: “I’m not going to be there next season so we’ll see what happens.”

Reporter: “Is your contract with Port Vale up in the summer?”
CD: “It is, yeah.”
Reporter: “So, it’s a possibility that you may be looking for a club nearer to your home in Nottingham?”
CD nodding: “Yeah, like I say, I’m not going to be there next season so we’ll see what happens.”
