Halifax want to keep Port Vale keeper until the end of the season
FC Halifax Town manager Jim Harvey has told the Halifax Courier that he wants to keep Port Vale goalkeeper Sam Johnson until the end of the season.
Johnson joined the National League side in November and has made six appearances including one in Halifax’s 2-2 draw with Lincoln City.
After that game, Harvey told the media that he was was hopeful loanees Johnson and Nicky Wroe would be extending their deals until the end of the season.
The Vale are well stocked in the goalkeeping department with fit-again Chris Neal challenging Jak Alnwick for the green jersey and with youngster Ryan Boot also in reserve.
