Blackpool take Uche Ikpeazu on loan

League One rivals Blackpool have taken former Vale loanee Uche Ikpeazu on loan until the end of the season.

The striker had an impressive start to the season as he netted six times but he failed to make a starting appearance after October.

Vale opted not to renew Ikpeazu’s loan spell at Vale Park after he lost his place and he returned to parent club Watford.

Commenting on the decision, Vale boss Rob Page said: “Sometimes with Uche, it’s a little bit unpredictable. We thank him for his goals but we feel we can improve on that now.”

Ikpeazu will not face Vale this season as the two clubs have already fulfilled their fixtures.

Ikpeazu has previously spent time out on loan with Crewe Alexandra and Doncaster Rovers.
