Page ‘disappointed’ with draw after ‘very difficult’ week
Manager Rob Page admitted it had been a difficult week for the players but hoped that the performance against Scunthorpe started to make up for their poor defeat to Exeter.
Page commented: “Credit to the players and the supporters, they were tremendous.

“It hasn’t been easy for them all week and I like to think that goes a little way to maybe giving our apologies for last week.
“As a group, we could have done with a win. We all know as a group and a club that it wasn’t acceptable last week. I think they have gone a small way today to put things right.”
“It is a great end to a very difficult week if I am honest. I have said that to the lads. It is a game where we are disappointed. We are pleased we have got something out of the game but we think we had enough chances to win.
“Credit to the players. They have not let it affect them too much this week. Things do filter into the changing room, of course they do, but it is about being professional and getting on with the job and that is what they have done today.”
