Moore good news for the Valiants?
Port Vale are hopeful that winger Byron Moore will be in contention for Sunday’s televised game against Walsall.
Moore is expected to have recovered from a hamstring injury that has ruled him out of the last three games.
The 27 year-old has scored four goals so far this season but has been missing since the 24th November.
Even though replacement Chris Birchall has scored twice in his absence, Vale will welcome added competition on the flanks.
Vale are still missing Enoch Andoh through a long-term injury but Moore’s return will give Rob Page a nice selection quandry – with Sam Kelly, Sam Foley, Chris Birchall and Moore all in contention for a place on the wing.
