Winger woe for Valiants?

Enoch Andoh has been ruled out of the game against Burton Albion while Chris Birchall and Byron Moore are both doubtful.

The club will receive news on Andoh’s knee injury on Monday while Moore (groin) and Birchall (thigh) both face fitness tests.

The news leaves Vale lightweight on the flanks – if the trio fail to make it, it’s likely Vale will start with Ryan Lloyd and Louis Dodds on the flanks with Sam Kelly in reserve.

Another option for Vale would be to move Sam Foley to the left and partner Anthony Grant with Michael O’Connor in the middle.
