Rob Page: New signing ‘has a bright future’
Manager Rob Page believes that striker JJ Hooper can force his way into the first-team “sooner rather than later.”
Hooper made his debut as a sub in the closing Page told the Sentinel: “I think with JJ it has just been a case of managing his fitness level, going from the level he has been playing at.
He is a natural finisher so we know we have a player on our hands and there are exciting times ahead for him…
“You can see why he has scored the goals he has. He has a pedigree behind him from Newcastle and he is getting better as the days go on.
“You can see he can finish from the sessions we do with him. He is a natural finisher so we know we have a player on our hands and there are exciting times ahead for him.
“Within the next couple of weeks he could be having an impact on the team.”
