Speaking after the 2-0 loss to Millwall Page commented:  “In my opinion they are the best team we have come up against so far this season. They do both sides of the game really well. Fair play to their manager, they are up for the battle first and they have players in the team that can hurt you. ”

However, the Vale boss was disappointed with his side adding:  “We improved the tempo in the second half and played on the front foot and the majority of the time in their half, but the second goal killed it off for us. But I was disappointed with the first half when so many under-performed to the standards they had set and we were up against a good team.”

Page also defended the half-time substitution of Remie Streete saying:  “It was nothing against Remie but I just thought it was a game that suited Ryan and for him to come on at half time. We conceded in the second half to a set piece but we knew they were going to be massive and it has done us unfortunately.
