Keeper Sam Johnson is first player to agree a new contract
Promising goalkeeper Sam Johnson has agreed a new one-year deal with the club, Port Vale have confirmed.
Johnson, who has made thirty appearances is still only 22 years of age and is seen as one of the club’s brightest prospects.
He started last season as the club’s number one but lost his place when Chris Neal returned to full fitness.
Johnson will be battling Neal for the green jersey again in the 2015-16 season.
