Levi Reid player profile:
Levi Reid was a diminutive midfielder who progressed through the Port Vale FC youth team and made his debut as a substitute against Bristol City in 2003. He made his full debut in an FA Cup tie against Ford United in November 2003.
He scored his first senior goal against Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Cup in 2004 and he was a regular Valiants squad member until 2005. However, he was released at the end of the campaign. It was later revealed that Reid was due to stand trial for affray and his legal team claimed that this had caused his release from the club.
He later moved on to have spells with Stafford Rangers, Macclesfield Town, Oxford United, Chasetown and Gainsborough Trinity. His brother, Izak Reid, was also a professional footballer and the pair played together while at Macclesfield Town.
