Vale to face ‘toothless’ Crawley side?
Rob Page’s team may be boosted by the news that Crawley manager John Gregory labelled his side “toothless” after their defeat to Bristol City.
Star striker Izale McLeod started a three-match ban before that game and Gregory felt that the forward’s absense was keenly felt.
We were without our number nine after he was sent off and it showed…
He told the media: “We were without our number nine after he was sent off and it showed. Without Izale McLeod in the side we become slightly toothless which is not good for us.”
McLeod will miss the game against the Valiants but former Vale striker Gavin Tomlin, who played the whole 90 minutes against City, is expected to play alongside on-loan striker Shaun Miller.
