This clip shows the moment when world famous popstar Robbie Williams plays for Port Vale and it is taken from our own YouTube channel. The clip even includes a goal scored by Williams during the match.
Locally-born Williams is a lifelong Port Vale FC fan and keen footballer and was keen to pay tribute to one of his favourite Vale players. Williams was born close to the Valiants’ Vale Park stadium in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent.
Striker Martin Foyle is a Port Vale legend and one of only a handful of Port Vale players to have scored over a hundred goals for the club. He helped the club win the Autoglass Trophy in 1993, won promotion in 1994 and also won the player of the year award on two occasions. He later returned to the club for a spell as manager.
