Adams odds-on for Tranmere job?
Skybet have named former Port Vale manager Micky Adams as the 2/7 favourite to become the new Tranmere Rovers manager.
Tranmere sacked manager Rob Edwards after the club slumped to the bottom of the League Two table.
Adams left Vale in September after a run of six straight defeats. He was in his second spell as Vale manager during which time he led the club to a “miraculous” promotion during the 2012/13 season.
Adams’ rivals for the job include Dave Jones (4/1) and another former Vale manager Brian Horton (25/1).
