Who’s next for the hot seat?
Following the departure of Micky Adams, there is plenty of speculation on who will be the club’s next manager. Here is a round-up of the stories.
Adams backs Page
Departing manager Micky Adams has backed caretaker Rob Page. Adams told the Sentinel: “I think it would be a real shame if the club overlooked Rob. He is ready for it and I wouldn’t want the club to miss out on the opportunity to appoint a bright young manager as good as him.”
Smurthwaite to take Rudge advice
Chairman Norman Smurthwaite has revealed he will listen to advice from legend John Rudge. Smurthwaite told the Sentinel: “I am seeking John Rudge’s counsel, he has been a big friend of the club.
