Duo return to boost Vale?

Colin Daniel and Richard Duffy could be fit enough to feature in the Vale squad to travel to Doncaster at the weekend.

Daniel and Duffy have both suffered from ankle injuries in recent weeks. Manager Micky Adams told the media: “Both have trained this week and both are in contention for a place on Saturday which is great. As far as Colin Daniel is concerned, he does give us another option, certainly all down the left hand side but also up top as well.

However, midfielder Michael O’Connor is an injury doubt and could face a fitness test. If O’Connor is unable to make the game, then Michael Brown or Steve Jennings will be in contention for a starting place.
