Ipswich: Veseli can leave permanently
Ipswich Town manager Micky McCarthy says that Port Vale loan defender Freddie Veseli can leave the Portman Road club on a permanent transfer.
Veseli joined the Valiants until January 2015 in a deal that was announced on Tuesday. However, McCarthy says that Veseli had become surplus to requirements during the previous season.
He might be able to progress somewhere else, and let’s hope he can because he’s a lovely young fella…
Speaking to the media, McCarthy said: “That’s the end of his time at Town.
“It was the end of his time at the end of last season if someone had taken him, I’d made him available.
“Micky Adams wants him. I think we’ve done him a turn letting him go there. Let’s hope he goes there and, who knows, somebody else might want him and he might be able to progress somewhere else, and let’s hope he can because he’s a lovely young fella.”
