Tomlin completes Crawley move
Port Vale striker Gavin Tomlin has completed his move to Crawley Town for an “undisclosed fee.”
Crawley manager John Gregory told the media: I’m delighted to get this one over the line. I have always admired Gavin.
“He’s two-footed and has got a terrific attitude. Everyone who I spoke to about him was very complementary about him as a professional and a person.”
Tomlin is the fifth player to leave Vale Park this summer. Doug Loft, Billy Clarke and Jennison Myrie-Williams have all turned down contract offers while Kaid Mohamed has joined Northampton on a season-long loan. Meanwhile, defender Joe Davis and striker Jordan Hugill are also expected to leave the club.
