Rumour: Striker set for Southend switch?
The Staffordshire Sentinel reports that Vale’s Gavin Tomlin could make a return to former club Southend United.

Tomlin only joined the Valiants from Southend in the summer of 2013 and endured a stop-start first season in Burslem. He netted the winner over Walsall but was also disrupted by injuries. In total, the 31 year-old netted six times for the Vale in 21 starts.
If Tomlin does decide to leave, the Sentinel reports that Vale have lined up a replacement.
