No new signings… yet
Port Vale manager Micky Adams has confirmed that the club will not be unveiling any new signings on Thursday.
The club revealed earlier this week that talks were ongoing with three potential new signings and Chairman Norman Smurthwaite was “hopeful” that one deal would be announced on Thursday.
However, according to the Sentinel, Adams has informed them that there will be no announcement on Thursday.
However, the club have confirmed that winger Kaid Mohamed is set to join Northampton Town on a season-long loan. The winger has been out of favour at Vale Park.
And manager Micky Adams has also confirmed Southend’s interest in Gavin Tomlin, telling the Sentinel: “I know there has been interest from Southend but that deal has not been concluded yet.”
