Fans’ messages of support sent to Loft
Dozens of messages of support for injured Port Vale skipper Doug Loft have been passed onto the club by the OVF website.
Loft was controversially injury and ruled out of the season after an altercation with team mate Dan Jones. Jones was later sacked by the club. Loft then revealed that he has suffered numerous facial injuries including a broken nose, broken cheekbone and broken jaw.
OVF felt that our users’ views could offer some encouragement to the skipper so, in April, we asked fans to post a comment to Lofty.
Port Vale FC have kindly agreed to pass the messages onto the Vale captain and a list of the messages were emailed across this week.
