Grew: there could be changes
Port Vale Assistant Manager Mark Grew says that some of Port Vale’s fringe players could be given an opportunity against Notts County.
He wants to have a look at players on the fringes that he probably hasn’t seen a lot of in the first team this year, so maybe there will be changes…
Vale’s chances of a play-off place look less likely after Peterborough won in mid-week and with contracts still undecided, Adams will take a look at some of his squad players.
Jordan Hugill could be a strong contender to feature after scoring for the reserves while Rob Taylor, Adam Yates and Louis Dodds have all been pushing for a first-team place.
Grew told the media: “The manager has said he is going to freshen it up on Saturday. He wants to have a look at players on the fringes that he probably hasn’t seen a lot of in the first team this year, so maybe there will be changes.”
On the fringes and in the frame?
