Port Vale have sold 2,800 season tickets during the month of April, the club have revealed.
The deadline for early bird sales (which is the cheapest period to purchase a ticket) was Wednesday 30 April.
However, some fans may be holding back on purchasing tickets until the future of Micky Adams and key players is settled.
The club have also announced a number of initiatives such as 10-game tickets which may also boost sales.
