Grimmer plays in Scotland U21 draw
On loan defender Jack Grimmer came on as a second-half substitute in Scotland U21’s 2-2 draw with Hungary.
Grimmer was a 57th minute replacement in the match held at Tannadice. It was the first U21 cap for the youngster who has also represented his county at U15, U16, U17 and U18 levels.
The on-loan Fulham player has followed in the steps of striker Steve McPhee in appearing for the Scottish U21 side. McPhee played in a Scotland U21 match against Latvia back in 2001.
The last Vale player to make an International appearance before Grimmer was Chris Birchall who played his final game for Trinidad and Tobago back in July 2013.
More “temporary” Vale internationals
