Lifelong Wolves supporter Mark Grew says he is hoping to “upset a few of my mates” with a Vale win on Saturday.
The Valiants travel to promotion hopefuls Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday and assistant manager Grew knows a lot about Vale’s next opponents.
Grew commented: “I was born there and I followed them all of my life, so it’s great. I loved going back and playing against them and I love going back as Assistant Manager and I have been back a few times.
“You want them to get promoted, but I would love to go there and get three points and upset a few of my mates.
“Molineux has changed quite a bit over the years, the old North Bank has gone where I used to stand, but it is still a great place to play football.
“I have been there three or four times this season and I think teams have gone there and shown them far too much respect and laid off them.
“We have got to go there in a positive frame of mind and try and get three points.”
