Thanks once again to Stuart Dean, we take a look through the 1959 match programme for Vale’s game against local rivals Crewe Alexandra.

About the match

Sadly, this game ended in a 2-0 defeat for the Valiants. However, it was a rare blip for Norman Low’s side who finished top of the Fourth Division at the end of the 1958-59 season.
