Injury crisis concerns Adams
Manager Micky Adams says he will look to add new players to his squad after Gavin Tomlin joined a growing injury list.
If the injury crisis continues we need to look at maybe bringing in one or two bodies. With the finances we have got available, they will probably be youngsters…
Tomlin, who was injured during the defeat to Brentford, joins Chris Robertson, Richard Duffy and Liam Chilvers on the sidelines while Carl Dickinson was missing on compassionate grounds.
Adams told the media after the game: “We are going to have to. If the injury crisis continues we need to look at maybe bringing in one or two bodies. With the finances we have got available, they will probably be youngsters.
“I think we need to strengthen in all areas at the moment, we are depleted.
“People say I can go into my development squad and we have done that again today with a couple of subs, but what you find with the development squad is some are ready and some are not, and at the moment the ones who are ready are here with us, and the ones that are not are back home.
“Are there any better than them out there? We will have to look and see.”
