Port Vale duo go out on loan
Port Vale have continued this season’s policy of allowing young players out on loan by agreeing that Wilson Carvalho and Louis Tambini can join Corby Town on loan.
Their manager Micky Adams was also my boss at Leicester and he has been very complimentary of both players when I have spoken to him…
Carvalho has already spent a prolific spell at Hemel Hempstead Town netting four times in six appearances.
Corby Town joint manager Tommy Wright told corbytownfc.co.uk “We have signed both players until the New Year, with the intention of potentially extending that period further.
“Wilson is a very quick and skilful winger, who comes from a good footballing background. The fact that he was at the Nike Academy shows exactly what he is about and I think the supporters will really enjoy watching him.
“Louis is a tall energetic goalscoring midfielder who can also play up front. I have had some really good reports from the coaching staff at Leicester City from his time there.
“Their manager Micky Adams was also my boss at Leicester and he has been very complimentary of both players when I have spoken to him.
“These signings should excite the fans and they can maybe expect another one early next week. We are in good shape and looking strong again with great balance, depth and team togetherness in the group.
“We go into the game tomorrow with the boost of fresh faces and myself and Stan welcome both players to Steel Park and are really looking forward to working with them.”
