Kidderminster 1-1 Port Vale
Vale’s Friday night friendly with Kidderminster ended in a draw after Jennison Myrie-Williams had opened the scoring for the Valiants.
Vale made a host of changes to the side that faced Derby with trialists Paul Reid and Mathias Doumbe the central defensive partnership.
The Valiants started brightly, putting the home side under pressure until an injury to Dan Jones disrupted proceedings.
Minutes later, Vale did take the lead through a goal which was credited to Myrie-Williams.
The Valiants took that lead into the interval. Shortly after the break, the home side hit back when Johnson scored and should have taken the lead when they were awarded a penalty. But Kidderminster missed from the spot to make the final score 1-1.
