Sky: Mohamed ‘set for Vale move’
Sky Sports claims that it “understands Port Vale are poised to sign Cheltenham Town forward Kaid Mohamed.”
Following Ashley Vincent’s decision to turn down a contract offer, theValiants have been linked with a number of wingers including Mohamed and Coventry’s experienced wideman Gary McSheffrey.
Welsh winger Mohamed scored seven goals in forty seven appearances last season, but left Cheltenham after his contract expired in the summer.
According to Sky, Mohamed is believed to have agreed a two-year deal at Vale Park.
Vale have yet to make any new additions to their squad this season, although seven existing squad members have agreed to new contracts.
