Vincent happy to break goalless run
Winger Ashley Vincent has told the Sentinel that he is pleased to end his goalless run with two goals against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday.
I needed something like a deflection to break the duck and that’s just what happened against Wimbledon…
Vincent now has eight goals for the season and told the newspaper: “I was counting something like 12 weeks since my last goal , and it was becoming a bug bear,” said the winger.
“I needed something like a deflection to break the duck and that’s just what happened against Wimbledon.
“The second was from a great ball from Jennison Myrie-Williams.
“It’s always been the same throughout my career. I might go a while without scoring then I will net in two or three games in a row.”
