Striker signs until end of the season
Port Vale FC have confirmed that forward Calvin Andrew has extended his short-term deal until the end of the season.
Andrew joined Vale in December following Vale’s unsuccessful attempt to loan Lee Hughes. He had been a free agent since leaving Crystal Palace in the summer.
The 26 year-old made his debut as a substitute in the FA Cup defeat to Sheffield United and has now made ten appearances for the Vale (four starts and six sub appearances) without scoring.
“I believe he has the ability to play an important part in our squad between now and the end of the season,” boss Micky Adams told the official Port Vale website.
Andrew’s latest appearance was as a substitute in the 2-2 draw with AFC Wimbledon on Thursday evening.
