Midfielder loaned to Hereford United
Port Vale midfielder Kingsley James has joined Blue Square Premier side Hereford United on a month’s loan.
James will link up with former Vale players Martin Foyle and Andy Porter, who are manager and assistant manager respectively, at Hereford.
Manager Micky Adams told the official Port Vale website: “Kingsley is a young player who has demonstrated his potential this season. This move will enable him to get some valuable appearances under his belt and we wish him well.”
James, the former Sheffield United youth captain and defender Phil Roe were both signed by Micky Adams following his return to Vale Park.
Roe was released in the summer, but James agreed a new one-year deal and broke through to the first-team in late November. He was first-choice for four games, which included a match against his former club in the FA Cup.
However, James then lost his place and with Doug Loft and Ryan Burge looking like the first-choices in midfield, James has found his Vale chances restricted.
