The 26 year-old joined the club in 2009 and has now made 120 starts and 19 sub appearances, scoring nine goals.
Loft appears content to stay with the Valiants and is hoping that he will be playing in League One next season. The captain told the newspaper:
“I’m just concentrating on my football. I’m sure a lot will depend on whether we secure promotion.
“I love it here. I’ve been here a few years and this is the best season we’ve had. We’ve got new owners in and it’s a club on the up, it’s a good place to be.”
