Foyle: Vale end interest in Pell
Hereford Unted manager (and former Vale legend) Martin Foyle has told the official Hereford United website that the Valiants have ended their interest in youngster Harry Pell.
Pell was heavily rumoured to be on his way to Burslem, but Foyle claims that although the Valiants did express an interest in the 21 year-old, that interest has now ended.
Foyle said: “Everyone’s talking about Harry Pell and yes there was a bit of interest from Port Vale, but that’s gone now, they’re not interested anymore.”
“Wimbledon showed a bit of interest and said ‘maybe we could do this’ but they can’t do anything and Harry knows all about this, and there were a couple of Conference teams.”
“If I was Harry there would be nothing that excites me at the moment.”
Harry who?
The midfielder began his career at Charlton before switching to Bristol Rovers. He had a loan spell at Hereford in 2011 and after rave reviews he signed a contract with the Bulls in the summer. He has scored six goals in 63 league starts.
