Port Vale skipper Doug Loft has given himself a “50-50 chance” of facing York City at the weekend.
I’m making good progress and feeling a lot better by the day…
Loft has struggled with a calf injury this season. He lasted just half-an-hour of the Rochdale game before being replaced. He was subsequently ruled out of last week’s Southend game.
But Loft told the Sentinel “I’d say I have a 50-50 chance of playing this weekend,” he said.
“I’m making good progress and feeling a lot better by the day, so we’ll just have to see.
“Hopefully, it won’t be long before I’m back, because it’s so frustrating to be out injured.”
