Taylor could return to make 100th start
Rob Taylor could return to Port Vale’s starting line-up after missing Tuesday’s game against Dagenham with a virus.
The 27 year-old has currently made 99 starts (plus 49 sub appearances) for the Valiants and if he is restored to the line-up it will see the former Nuneaton man make a century of starts for the club.
Taylor’s absence saw captain Doug Loft drop back to left-back, but Taylor’s return could see the skipper restored to a midfield role.
Taylor, who can play as left-back or winger made his first start of the season during the away win over Bradford City.
