Former Port Vale keeper passes away
Former Port Vale keeper Milija Aleksic has sadly died, aged 61 years of age.
Aleksic, who was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme came through the Vale junior ranks and made two appearances for the club in 1968 when aged 17 years of age.
He was released in 1969 and after a spell in non-league, he signed for Plymouth and later went on to join top flight outfit Tottenham Hotspur.
Our sympathies and thoughts go out to Milija’s family and friends at this sad time.
