Haldane set to step up recovery
Injury-plagued winger Lewis Haldane will step up his recovery after manager Micky Adams told the winger that he has to “see how far he can go with it.”
Haldane suffered a double leg break last season and had a further operation to remove scar tissue. He is now expected to step up his training in a bid to return to first-team action. Manager Micky Adams told the Sentinel: “Lewis had an operation five or six weeks ago and has seen a specialist again.
“The ankle is not 100 per cent and he has to push through the pain barrier if he is to see how far he can go with it.
“We only have a smallish squad so we want everybody to be fit and ready.”
